BQB features a message board which allows you to communicate with the seller pre-purchase. You can arrange payment and domain delivery details before ever even placing a bid. BQB asks that buyers extend sellers the courtesy of sending payment before requesting delivery of the domain unless the seller has agreed to otherwise before the winning bid was placed. As part of the BQB terms of service, sellers are required to list the domain name registrar in their listing. We ask that buyers familiarize themselves with this registrar before placing a bid and ask the seller any questions they have regarding account changes or domain name transfers before placing a bid.
For larger purchases, we recommend the use of a secure third party escrow service. BQB recommends www.escrow.com and www.moniker.com. If the buyer or seller suggests using an alternative escrow service which you're unfamiliar with, please email BQB and we'll assist you in determining whether the escrow service is legitimate or fraudulent. In general, most buyers and sellers should be willing to use one of the escrow providers listed above if requested by the other party.
